When the Phoenix is coming back to Earth and is assumed to want to take Hope Summers as it's host, the Avengers and the X-Men have different theories over what it means. The X-Men believe it is a sign of the re-emergence of the mutant species, but the Avengers believe it means the Earth's destruction is nigh. The X-Men want to prepare Hope, the Avengers to hide her before the Phoenix arrives.
