With the rumour mill for Marvel’s upcoming Avengers movie starting to build pace, some leaked concept art for the film’s computer game tie in has revealed just who Captain America and co could be squaring up against next summer. Although all indications appear to be that publishers THQ have cancelled the tie in for ‘unknown reasons’, the guys over at WouldYouKindly have released these images which show Norse god Thor squaring up to what appear to be a couple of Skrull! For those of you who don’t know the Skrull are a race of shape shifting aliens whose previous comic appearances have seen them tangling with the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X men and the Silver Surfer. How exactly they will fit into the plot of the Avenger’s movie is still a matter of mystery, but a possible alliance with returning villain Loki can’t be ruled out at this stage.
Either way The Avengers is shaping up to be the hit film of 2012, so why not take drop into Comic Guru and pick yourself up a few back issues ahead of next summer?
