This week at the Friday Video Club we are stepping into the world of computer games with the excellent Portal: No Escape short film by Dan Trachenberg.Based on the truly fantastic Valve series of computer games, (if you are yet to play them, stop what you are doing and go and do so this instant. We’ll wait) Portal follows the exploits of Chell, a young women attempting to escape the confines of the Aperture science laboratories armed with a physics bending gun capable of throwing two connecting portals onto any surface. This fan film first debuted at Comic Con a few weeks ago and has drawn praise from all who have seen it so far.
